Get a price for your car
Two short steps: your reg and postcode first, then where to send the price.
- Any make, any condition
- Firm price in writing on WhatsApp
- No admin fees
Three steps. One WhatsApp message.
You never fill in a long form or wait on hold. Send the reg, we do the rest.
- 1
Send your reg on WhatsApp
Message us your registration and postcode, with a line on condition and a photo or two if the car is damaged. Or use the quote form, which opens WhatsApp with your details filled in.
- 2
Get a firm price
We price on weight, make and model, condition and completeness, demand for its parts, distance and that week's metal prices, then reply with one figure. No range, and no haggling on the doorstep if the car is as described.
- 3
Collected and paid
We agree a collection date. The driver checks the car against your description and sees your ID, and you are paid by bank transfer.
What happens next
Enter your registration and postcode, then tell us where to send the price. The form then opens WhatsApp with your message written out; press send and it reaches us. We look up the vehicle, work out a figure from its weight, make and model, condition and distance, and reply with one firm price. Metal prices move, so we tell you how long the price stands. There is no obligation to accept.
What we will ask about the car
Whether it runs and drives, is a non-runner, has failed its MOT or is accident damaged. If parts are missing, especially the catalytic converter, battery or wheels, say so in the notes. An accurate description means the price you are paid is the price you were quoted. For a written-off car, tell us the category as well; selling a write-off explains why it matters.
Rather message us directly?
Skip the form and send the same details straight to our WhatsApp, with a photo or two if the car is damaged. It reaches the same person and gets the same price.
What we keep
The website keeps a copy of what you enter so we can match it to your WhatsApp message. If you did not mean to send it, email us with the registration and we delete it. The privacy policy has the detail.
Any car, any condition.

Accident damaged
Crumpled wings, a bent chassis, airbags gone. If repairing it makes no sense, we buy it as it stands. Tell us what happened and send photos so the price is right first time.

Non-runners
Dead engine, seized gearbox, a battery that has been flat for months. The car is collected on a recovery vehicle, so it does not need to start or move under its own power.

MOT failures
When the repair bill is more than the car is worth, sell it instead. You do not need an MOT to sell or scrap a car, and it leaves on a recovery vehicle, so it never has to be driven. Until then, a car without an MOT should be kept off the public road and declared SORN.

Vans and small fleets
Panel vans, pickups and light commercials up to 3.5 tonnes, from one retired work van to several fleet vehicles. Send the regs together and we price each one, with payment by bank transfer.

Insurance write-offs
Cat B, S and N write-offs that you own (insurers usually let you keep only a Cat S or N car), plus damaged cars that were never claimed on and so have no category. Tell us the category when you ask for a price, because it affects what the car is worth.
Questions people ask us
What do I need to send to get a price?
Your registration and the postcode where the car is. That is enough for a first figure. Add whether it runs, whether it has an MOT, anything missing or damaged, and a couple of photos if you can. An accurate description means an accurate price and no change when the driver arrives.
How soon will I hear back?
We answer messages in the order they arrive, and WhatsApp is the most direct route. Form enquiries arrive on WhatsApp too, once you press send. Sending photos of any damage with your first message saves a round of questions.
Is the price a firm offer, and how long does it last?
It is the price we will pay for the car as you described it. Metal prices move, so we tell you how long the price stands when we send it. If you are not ready to sell yet, ask us to look at it again later. There is no obligation and nothing to pay if you decide not to sell.
What if I am not sure about the car's condition?
Tell us what you know. Does it start, does it drive, has anything been removed, when did the MOT run out? Photos of the outside and of any dashboard warning lights help a lot. If you are unsure whether a part is missing, say so; it is better than the driver finding out on the day.
Am I committed once I send the form?
No. Sending your details asks us for a price and nothing more. You can accept it, think about it or decline it. We will not pester you, and we use your details to price your car and arrange collection, never for marketing. If you want your details removed, one email to info@motorsalvagegroup.co.uk does it.
Ready to get rid of that car?
Send your reg on WhatsApp for a firm price, or call us. Free collection, paid by bank transfer.
