Yes, scrapping a car is legal when done correctly.  The DVLA must be informed that the vehicle is being taken off the road and only sites holding a valid Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) permit can legally scrap cars. We hold all the correct licenses at Motor Salvage Group.
